it has been such a sunny spring. I've been doing alot of lying in the grass


I wandered out to the meadow today

Where the daisies and daffodils grow

And there, in quiet solitude

I watched the pastures below


Then I stood still and closed my eyes

So consciousness could wash over me

And I heard a whisper in my ear

A low vibrating hum


And as a soft, rich blanket of sounds

Flutters slowly down

I was aware I was not alone

For there was nature all around


A symphony of life was playing

A tune just for me

This is why I sit out here

Because this is all silence can be
